Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Juno

And now? You know the answer too. Apart from some rare occasions, the rest is calm.
Benjamin Barker, aka Sweeney Todd (Johnny Depp), it was rightly jailed for 15 years by the cruel Judge Turpin (Alan Rickman), in love with the wife of the barber. On his release, the victim becomes the persecutor and begins his revenge against the corrupt society of London with the help of Mrs. Lovett (Helena Bonham Carter), who helps him get rid of the corpses of his victims, making meat pies.
Sweeney Todd, which I eagerly awaited as huge fan of Tim Burton, I left a bit 'confused. Mind you, film is well shot and performed, with the atmosphere very dark and disturbing photo and a well crafted, but there is something that I was not convinced. Perhaps the fault is excessive hype, but I expected to leave the cinema with a razor in his hand wanting to put under the knife through the hand and it did not happen. The darkness of the staging burtoniana still remains a great impact, and morality (or lack thereof) probably strikes deeper than at other times, so there's little to complain about, but maybe seeing him between Blood and No Country for Old Men has not helped, or perhaps saying "Never change a winning team" has taken root in this case a bit 'too much.

First Juno has a very high value. I read an article on the Republic of Natalia Aspesi and for once I agreed with her. Some things that make one think eh. Then it is clear that 7yearwinter is sharper than in the polemic against the attempt to exploit anti-abortion film by theocons, which hopefully will not have even seen the film but will be based on the synopsis read somewhere.
The sixteen year old Juno (Ellen Page) gets pregnant after having a very casual relationship with his friend Paulie (Michael Cera). Having dispelled doubts on interruption of pregnancy, decide to pursue it and then give the child in foster care to a young couple. She (Jennifer Garner) can not wait to become a mom and is ready to take the plunge, as opposed to him (Jason Bateman) that it is a bit 'more reluctant, spends his days between rock music and horror films, hobbies that earned him the friendship of the teenager but that put him in conflict with his wife. Thank You for Smoking, Jason Reitman directing another play smart and balanced dose of sweetness and bitterness, capturing the audience with this successful recipe. Sure, the credit also goes to the protagonist Ellen Page, very good and very beautiful, that with the bump and then look indie, which pervades the whole atmosphere of the film is quite compelling.
