I was taught to not judge a book by its cover, and it is a maxim that I try to follow as far as possible, but sometimes I think we can abandon their prejudices. Bee Movie falls quietly in one of these cases. The wordplay of the title already says enough, as the production house leaves little room for hope to see a good movie, but once again I wanted to have confirmation of my ideas and, once again, I had . I was hoping for an unexpected surprise, but I was more than disappointed.

Come scrivevo qualche post fa, da piccolo io sono cresciuto a pane e Indiana Jones. Lo scrivo per spiegare (o giustificare, fate voi) la mia passione per le avventure che si spostano da un luogo all'altro, con la bella di turno e l'aiutante un po' imbranato. Tre anni fa infatti il primo film della serie National Treasure , da noi Il mistero dei Templari , mi had sufficiently amused, despite its implausibility and sconclusionatezza that pushed the cinema to see this sequel shabby.

Since then I've always remembered as a pleasant and very intelligent book, for which I feel still a mixture of affection and nostalgia. The debate between film and books is as old as the same except for some fine art and eighth occasion often resolves in favor on paper. I do not believe to be a fundamentalist thing, but this film is yet another disappointment of loyal readers and hopeful.

Nightmare Before Christmas


I remember like it was yesterday the day when I went to see Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time. It was 1993 and my father and I were at the cinema course, a room which is now unfortunately become a colony for sewer rats. After 14 years I returned to the cinema and although many things have changed (this time I went with friends in a multiplex, and omit any nostalgic drift), the emotions that the inhabitants of the land of Halloween are capable of arousing the same as when I was a child.
Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King and is the leader of the monsters who every year deal with the terrors of Halloween, but he grew up in dissatisfaction and a sense of inadequacy due to the monotony of their work. The solution is revealed to him when they accidentally end up in the city of Christmas and decides to bring the party Dicembrino among his fellow citizens. Things do not go according to plan, but the heroic Jack will manage, and in its way, to organize a special Christmas for everyone.
