The Bourne Ultimatum - The Return of the Jackal
The cinematic adventures inspired by the books by Robert Ludlum come finally to the third (and in theory last) chapter. At this point, fans of action cinema should already begin to feel nostalgia for a trilogy that brought new life to a genre that seemed to be permanently channeled to a scripted destiny. To the world of gadgets and exotic locations ultrateconologici, the Bourne series it opposes a more credible, more real, in which the protagonist is a special man, but at the same time characterized by a number of weaknesses that make it closer to the viewer. Perhaps it was this one of the basic ingredients of his success, of course, the quality of the combined fund artistic production.
Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is always closer to the discovery of his own identity after years of research and revenge. But if Pamela Landy (Joan Allen) is willing to lend a hand or at least try to bring it back safe and sound all'internod ell'Agenzia, the vice-director Noah Vosen (David Sthrathairn) does not think the same way and look at all ways to eliminate the Eyewitness Project Treadstone and Blackbriar. An unusual plot, but it fits perfectly with the frantic director Paul Greengrass, but never chaotic, even took him back to the adventures of Bourne, who manages masterfully to keep up the adrenaline level of the viewer for the almost two hours film. The final approval and then goes to the cast, both veterans like Damon Allen and the "newbies" as Sthrathairn and Finney, a selection of players, perhaps not known to the general public (except for Damon) but able to bring to the screen a series of interpretations truly worthy of note.
