Welcome to the second episode, after Atonement, the series "if I had seen before, it entered the charts at the end of year." La poesia di alcune scene rende giustizia al premio ricevuto a Cannes dal regista, che conferma (come se ce ne fosse bisogno) their talent.

Not having seen the two previous film adaptations of the homonymous book by Richard Matheson, I have not read, and Avedo not even seen the first film directed by Francis Lawrence , Constantine, the expectations for this movie I was sufficiently high and free from any kind of injury. Actually the contrary, the presence of Will Smith and his performance from one-man-show made me hope to see a work more than adequate.
Three years after the outbreak of an epidemic that has wiped out almost the entire population of the Earth and turned the remainder into a sort of undead that wander in the darkness, Robert Neville (Will Smith) is the last man left on the planet. Accompanied by his dog Sam, the survivor spends his days trying to find a cure to degenerative disease of the "zombies" and pulling out as it can to meet their physical and psychological needs.
The fascinating history of the last man on earth is well known to all and is easy for Lawrence to maintain a high level of attention of the viewer inserting the description of the unusual life of the protagonist with more action scenes in which it must deal with the beings around him. Although these were not made very well on screen, and you wonder why computer use graphic when just a good makeup artist, give moments of tension is not indifferent, and some jump on the chair is made without batting an eyelid. However, despite yet another confirmation of the quality of Smith as an actor, the rest of the film leaves something 'to be desired.
