As they say, "wet Easter Monday, Easter sucker." The transition to the fantasy can reasonably well, adjusting the number of story by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. My impression is that the director has chosen to turn un film senza troppe pretese, rispettando le aspettative del giovane pubblico e facendo tutto sommato il lavoro onesto che ha svolto negli ultimi anni. Non sarà un film trascendentale, ma il mondo delle cronache di Spiderwick tutto sommato fa il suo dovere come film di intrattenimento, anche per gli adulti (pochi) in sala. E a questo punto poco importa se i dilemmi esistenziali e i problemi familiari rappresentati hanno la consistenza di un tovagliolo, quello che importa è salvare il libro e sconfiggere l'orco.
